Financing the rail link from Gara’ad to Werdẽr is planned to be negoiated with the World Bank, United Nations and the respective Governments of Ethiopia and Puntland, State of Somalia. 

HAFZA shall be a finance cotributor as owner/operator of the rail link as a commercial operation, subject to the respective laws of Puntland/Somalia being endorsed by the United Nations (UN).  Such endorsement shall be in accordance with HAFZA’s contract with the Puntland Government and endorsed so as they are acceptable to the international investment community.

To assist its operation HAFZA shall work with an independent Non Government Organization (NGO) named:

Nation Development - Vision"

(GRAND Vision)
